The films I’m showing below are my top 3 favorites, I guess they never changed. Like Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it, it never bores me. Like a perfect storyline with a beautiful animation. This also goes for Spielberg's Jurassic Park, I never counted how many times I’ve watched it, you can say I’m a die-hard fan of the franchises, as a Dinosaurus lover I would never say the movies are bad, Dinosaurs never fails me I guess. As for The Lord of The Rings trilogy, this is probably the second fantasy film that got me hooked (after Harry Potter’s universe), Tolkien’s world absolutely mesmerized me, later I realized Tolkien’s story is pretty wide and poetically beautiful. A timeless masterpiece.
But, sometimes the list changes through how I felt about the movie. More film list I watch on my Letterboxd.
- The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers (2002).
2. Jurassic Park (1993).
3. Spirited Away (2001).
I am also quite fond of drama or romantic comedy films. Did I mention that I loved Adam Sandler’s movies? Haven’t seen all of them but these are the movies that make me love him (in no particular order):
- 50 First Dates
- Uncut Gems
- Punch+Drunk Love
- Grown Ups 1 & 2
- Just Go With It
- Murder Mistery
- That’s My Boy
- The Longest Yard
- The Waterboy
- You Don’t Mess with The Zohan
- I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
Wait, here’s another one. Wes Anderson. All of them.
